Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna has begged the electorates in the state not to punish the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani for his mistakes.
The governor said Uba is more generous than him as he pleaded for forgiveness from those he (El-Rufai) might have offended as governor.
El-Rufai who spoke while inaugurating the Kaduna State APC Campaign Council in Kaduna said the task before the campaign council was to ensure total victory for the APC in the 2023 general election.
“We know in the course of this job we have offended some people. They should forgive us. I will not contest again so do not blame others for my mistakes. Those I mistakenly offended I seek for their forgiveness.

“Don’t blame Uba Sani or Senator Kwari or Dattijo or Senator Bulus, our candidate in Kaduna South for my mistakes. If we rise up together and unite ourselves God willing in the next election, APC will win in Southern Kaduna.
“We cannot achieve all these until you all work. The work is in your hands. Anywhere you go and they insulted me tell them I’m leaving. Don’t defend me just tell them I’m leaving soon. Uba Sani is a good man because he smiles and is more generous than me and he gives from his pocket,” he said.
