Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State yesterday said a bill will be sent to the House of Assembly to ensure the autonomy of the legislative arm of government to enable the parliament to function well.
Speaking during the eighth edition of the National and State Assembly Service Commission conference in Kaduna, El-Rufai said his administration is fully in support of financial autonomy for the legislature.
He called on the lawmakers not to be scared of anything, saying they are elected to serve the public and not protect personal interests.
