Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna state has confirmed the Executive Secretary of Kaduna State Primary Health Care Agency, Dr Hadiza Abubakar-Balarabe, as his running mate for the 2019 governorship election.

Daily Trust had exclusively reported that the medical doctor, who is currently attending a conference in Kenya, “was summoned yesterday by Governor El-Rufai over the same issue.”

The state deputy governor, Arc Barnabas Yusuf Bala, announced recently that he won’t be El-Rufai’s running mate again and has since clinched the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Kaduna Southern Senatorial District.
