The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, yesterday sent a petition to the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, James F. Entwistle, on the senate rules forgery suit.
Ekweremadu in the letter titled: “Nigeria’s Democracy is in grave danger”, also  said the South-east and South-south geopolitical zones were being marginalised by the present administration.
He told the US envoy that the list of accused persons appeared to have been politically generated. He also recalled that an attempt was made on his life on November 17, 2015, alleging that security agencies did nothing, even as the incident was duly reported.
