A 20-year-old woman, Ajayi Sherifat, has been arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged breach of peace and fraud.
The police prosecutor, ASP Caleb Leramo, told the court that the defendant from July to November at the Agric Olope Junction in Ado-Ekiti, where she was a salesgirl, obtained N1.9m realised from the sales of chicken feeds belonging to one Mr Oyekunle Taiwo and converted the money to her personal use.

Counsel to the defendant, Mr Adegboyega Falowo, urged the court to grant his client bail.
The Magistrate, Mr Saka Afunso, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to January 15.
