The prosecutor, Insp. Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court that the defendant committed the offence in November 2020 in Ikere-Ekiti.
Akinwale alleged that the defendant received 32 inches LG plasma television set from one Olaoye Toyin, one of the stolen items looted from the Police Divisional Headquarters, Anaye, in Ikere-Ekiti.
He said the offence contravened Section 427 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012. Akinwale urged the court to adjourn the case to enable him to study the case file and assemble his witnesses. Christiana, however, pleaded not guilty.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Lanre Owoleso, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N75,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The case was adjourned to Feb.16 for hearing. (NAN)
