Ekiti State government has distributed items including tricycles, motorbikes, generators, dryers, sewing machines and make-up kits to 50 beneficiaries to enhance their livelihood.
Speaking during the distribution in Ado-Ekiti, Thursday, the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, who represented Governor Kayode Fayemi, said the items would assist the people to resettle.

He noted that the items are relief materials supplied by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to internally displaced persons in the state.
He urged the beneficiaries to make wise use of the items and contribute their quota to society to make the state proud of them.
The chairman, Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), retired Capt. Sunday Adebomi, said the items were to alleviate the sufferings of the underprivileged and to eradicate poverty in society.
