Ekiti records 180 new COVID-19 cases

Ekiti State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, has confirmed that the state recorded 180 cases of COVID-19 between July and August 2021.

Dr. Filani, gave the figure yesterday at a press conference with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti.

Filani said the state had already recorded 85 cases  in  August alone, while 95 cases were recorded in July 2021.

According to him, the government would revisit some of the precautionary measures put in place in the past to avoid further spread in the state.
