Ekiti poll: Stop violence or face wrath of ancestors, monarchs tell troublemakers

Traditional rulers in Ekiti State have invoked a curse on troublemakers, saying the spirits of their ancestors will fight whoever is bent on turning the state into a battleground ahead of the governorship poll.

The monarchs spoke in turns in Ado-Ekiti at an emergency security meeting called by the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, following violence in Ado-Ekiti metropolis which led to the death of some persons.
