Ekiti State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has condemned the gruesome murder of two traditional rulers by some gunmen on Monday afternoon.
The deceased were the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin, and the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Olusola,

The council also expressed displeasure over the kidnap of some primary school pupils and their teachers in Emure Ekiti, describing the dastardly act as heartless and unfortunate.
The council’s reaction to the unwholesome situation in the state is contained in a statement signed by the council’s chairman and Secretary, Seun Ogunsakin and Mr Kayode Babatuyi. (NAN)
