A number of junior tennis players have returned home with trophies and medals from the just concluded Sapetro Future Tennis Championship in Lagos.
Coach Wumi Ogunsakin who led the players said the Ekiti team emerged champions in the U-14 boys event and placed second in the boys and girls U-12 category.
Oluwaseun Ogunsakin emerged champion in the U-14 boys event and his younger brother, Oluwaseyi came second in the boys under 12 just as Success Ogunjobi placed second in the girls U-14 event.
He said all the outstanding players were rewarded with gifts which they dedicated to their respective parents who sponsored them to participate in the competition.
The coach who expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players said the team has since returned home safely and will continue to work hard for future engagements.
