The Ekiti State government has distributed free JAMB forms worth N17.2 million to 2,500 indigent and vulnerable but qualified out-of-school youths across the 16 local government areas of the state.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi, who flagged off the distribution of the forms to the beneficiaries, said the present administration is committed to extending the dividend of democracy to the youths.
According to her, the purchase of the forms for the vulnerable youths would also give them the ample opportunity they would have missed to secure a better future with their peers as the leaders of tomorrow.
She reiterated that the government will leave no stone unturned in preparing the future leaders of Ekiti state with the requisite qualifications to enable them to improve on the solid foundation that has been laid in the state.
Erelu Fayemi, urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by being studious and shun any unwholesome behaviours that could jeopardise the attainment of academic greatness.
