Ekiti abduction: kidnappers reduce ransom to N15m

The kidnappers of Ekiti school children and some staff are now demanding N15 million, to release the nine captors.

A source within Eporo-Ekiti, said the kidnappers are in contact with some of the parents, and even threatened to kill the victims if the ransom is not paid on time.

According to the source, the families have been able to raise N3m, but the kidnappers insisted it must be N15m.

“What we need now is money to secure the release of our children and wives, because the kidnappers just had a conversation with some of the parents.

“We are begging them to take what we have been able to raise but they said N15m and we should be fast about it because the children are already weak.”
