The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Yobe State has deployed 878 operatives to beef up security before, during and after the Sallah celebration.
The spokesman of the command, DSC Bala Garba, who disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen, said the operatives had been duly briefed to be watchful and treat people with civility in the process of discharging their duties and ensure maximum protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
