The Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has advised motorists to limit speed and desist from wrongful overtaking to minimise road accidents during the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Owode-Ijako Unit Commander of TRACE, Mrs Temitope Oseni, gave the advice while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Ota.

The Muslim faithful will celebrate Eid-el-Fitr at the weekend.

Oseni said some motorists got carried away during festive seasons.

“We are appealing to motorists to drive safely to make the celebration accident-free,” she pleaded. (NAN)
