The leader of Muslims in Yorubaland charged Muslims in a statement issued yesterday, to remain focused and steadfast and advised them to continue to live in accordance with Allah’s dictates in the holy Quran and the tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon Him).
“By the singular decision of willing to sacrifice his only son,Prophet Ibrahim chose the love of God over fatherhood, faith overemotion and that is why Allah compensated him with a sheep. It is not how big your ram for sacrifice is but the piety of Allah in carrying out this age long tradition that matters. I wish our Muslimbrothers and Sisters could learn lesson from this,” he added.
The Asiwaju Muslimi of Yorubaland also advised members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect to use this auspicious occasion to free the Chibok girls in their custody and allow peace to reign in the country.
