Other elected national vice chairmen include Comrades Lawan Garba, Mathias Ote, Dauda Olabisi, and Olaolu Akinmuyise, representing the Kaduna, Warri, Lagos, and Port Harcourt zones, respectively.

Comrades Malut Abubakar and Odinakachi Nwafor emerged as the First Deputy National Chairman and Second Deputy National Chairman, respectively.

The election was conducted in compliance with a judgment by Justice O. Y. Anuwe of the National Industrial Court (NIC) in Abuja, which annulled the previous election held in Ibadan in October.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Egbon reaffirmed the PTD’s commitment to maintaining its relationship with NUPENG and extended an olive branch to aggrieved members.

NUPENG National President, Comrade Williams Akporeha, echoed Egbon’s sentiments, declaring, “NUPENG has shown to the world that NUPENG, PTD is one. There is no division anywhere.”
