Nigeria Football Coaches Association has commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)) for appointing indigenous coaches to lead the U-15, U-17 and U-20 male and female football teams.
In a statement signed by Etta Egbe, the national Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the coaches association and released in Calabar, the coaches expressed happiness for the NFF keeping faith with their members.

The association assured that it will work with colleagues to ensure they excel in their given assignments.
The statement also described the sports minister as hard working, maintaining that his support has given local coaches an enabling environment to succeed.
“We shall work with our colleagues to ensure they excel in their various assignments.
“Thank God for giving us such a hard working minister at this time.
“We shall support our colleagues to succeed”, the statement concluded.
While the president of the coaches association, Ladan Bosso was appointed to head the technical crew of the national U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, Fatai Amo was handed the national U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, Christopher Danjuma was assigned to the national U-20 women’s team, the Falconets.
Others are Bankole Olowookere U-17 girls, the Flamingoes, Omoniyi Haruna Ilerika Usman Head Coach U-15 boys and Abdullahi Tyabo Umar U-13 boys.
