EFCC sued over human rights violation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been dragged before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja over violation of the human rights of one Mr Ifeanyi Okorie Oboh.

The case, filed in June, 2022, by Chatham Partners comes up on July 7.

Chatham Partners alleged that EFCC operatives improperly handled Mr Oboh when they raided his hotel room in Abuja sometime in June, 2022, arrested and detained him for five days before he was released on bail.
