The Speaker of the State Assembly, Tonye Willie Harry majority leader and 26 other lawmakers have been quizzed by investigators.
Sunday Trust learnt from a senior official in the anti-corruption agency that all 28 legislators honoured the invitation of EFCC last week and made official statements.
Four others are yet to be interrogated. Two of these lawmakers are currently outside the country and the remaining two are sick.
It was alleged that the lawmakers have misappropriated N5bn meant for execution of projects in their constituencies with little evidence to show for it.
The Speaker was at EFCC last Monday. 12 lawmakers were quizzed last Tuesday. On Wednesday, 13 others were at the commission and the last of the 28 gave his official statement on Friday.
EFCC’s Spokesman, Femi Babafemi when contacted said he is aware that the commission is investigating Rivers State assembly but does not have the details.
