Detectives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Command, have quizzed cross dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, for allegedly mutilating naira notes.
Bobrisky, who arrived at the Lagos Zonal Command of EFCC in the morning of Wednesday, April 3, 2024, was immediately taken in for questioning and that he volunteered his statements after answering questions from the detectives.
A video of the 31-year-old Bobrisky showing him/her spraying and flaunting wads of new naira notes had gone viral on social media.
The alleged offence took place at the premiere of a movie, “Ajakaju”, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at the Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos, on March 24, 2024.

EFCC’s spokesman, Dele Oyewale, on Thursday, who noted that the anti-graft agency invited Bobrisky, said, “Investigation also revealed that he had also committed the alleged offence at some other event centres and parties at different times.”
“Following the invitation by the commission, he arrived at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC in the morning of Wednesday, April 3, 2024, for interrogation and volunteered his statements.
“He will soon be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.’’
Meanwhile, the cross dresser was said to have failed to meet his bail conditions.
