The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) have pledged to collaborate and strengthen support for refugees, returnees, stateless people, internally displaced persons and asylum-seekers.
EFCC chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, said this in Abuja Wednesday when he received the Federal Commissioner, NCFRMI, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.

Bawa decried the challenges faced by Persons of Concerns (PoCs), including refugees, returnees, stateless people, internally displaced persons and asylum-seekers.
He said the NCFRMI staff would be trained in relevant courses to further strengthen their activities in the country.
On his part, Sulaiman-Ibrahim described the support as a welcome development, saying the training would prepare the commission’s staff to support PoCs.
