EFCC nabs 21 internet fraudsters

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, raided the dens of internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys, in Lugbe and Kubwa suburbs of Abuja and arrested 21 suspects.

Our correspondent observed that mobile phones, laptops and Mercedes cars were recovered from the suspects.

Speaking to journalists on the development, spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, gave the suspects’ names as Joseph Boniface, Emmanuel Okwara, Elijah Iwebie, Moses Hassan, Abdulrahman Lawal, Azu Chidubem Eugene, Abdullahi Adebola and Elijah Simon.

Others are Terfa Lincoln, David Kome, Chukwudah Martinez, Adie Matthew, Canice Agabi, Abbas Aminu, Damilare James, Christopher Simon, Mohammed Abdulhamid, Ifeanyi Bosah, Ayuba Aminu, Godwin Terkura and Victor Ademola.
