EFCC arrests 37 for internet fraud

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters.

The suspects were arrested at their hideout in Ibadan and Oyo town, Oyo State, following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.

The commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, who confirmed the raid to journalists in Ibadan on Monday, said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded.
