The Edo State Skills Development Agency, also known as EdoJobs, has disclosed that the agency would train 25,000 youths across the three senatorial districts in various skills in 2025.
The Managing Director of the agency, Mr Kerimu Kelly announced this in Benin, when the executive members of the Grassroot Massive Mobilisation Support Group (GMMSG) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo chapter paid him a courtesy call.
According to him, the initiative was part of the state government’s efforts to empower young people and make them self-reliance.
“The arrangements have been concluded to start with training on hairdressing, vulcanising and fashion designing. The empowerment is with the support of the government and other partners like the World Bank”.

Earlier, the group coordinator, Mrs Omoyemwen Adeyinka-Afolabi, said the visit was to familiarise with the office as a partner for youth development.
