The management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State has sacked four of its lecturers over alleged gross misconduct.
The lecturers were dismissed by the Special Intervention Team (SIT) of the institution after considering the report of the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC) during its emergency meeting.

The dismissed lecturers are Engr. Lawrence Imaekhai; Engr. Dr Sumaila O. Jimoh; Engr. Haruna Andrew Idoko, all from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Barr. Patrick Ikechuckwu Iweoha, Faculty of Law.
The institution’s public relations officers, Edward Aihebva, confirmed the sack of the lecturers.
He said, “Four academic staff members were dismissed for gross misconduct. Their matter went to senior staff disciplinary committee that recommended to the Special Intervention Team, and SIP acted on it.”
