The Uhunmwonde and Orhionmwon local government’s chairmen, Kenneth Adodo and Newman Ugiagbe, and their deputies have been impeached by their respective legislative arms over alleged misconduct.
The development brings to four the total number of local government chairmen and their deputies that have been impeached by their legislative arms in the state.

Recall that Egor and Owan East local government chairmen, Eghe Ogbemudia and Prince Aminu Okodo-Kadiri respectively have been impeached alongside their deputies.
