The decision to take medical treatment should be a personal one done out of free will. Any doctor recommending a patient should undergo a course of treatment will take time to explain the advantages and risks. With COVID-19 this is not the case.
Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki recently decreed that all Edo State residents must be vaccinated and carry a card before being allowed access to public places! This is ill-considered, unconstitutional, ridiculous and guaranteed to cause problems. The population of Edo State is estimated to be 4.7 million and in the first and second phases of vaccination the state received 81,080 and 76,712 doses. This means the total vaccines received (157,792) is less than four per cent of the population. How does it make sense to restrict the activities of the majority of the population for whom the vaccine was never available in the first place?

Naturally Edo citizens are reacting with derision. Their state was one of those where COVID-19 palliatives were hoarded and citizens broke into warehouses to “steal” what was rightfully theirs! Now they jokingly ask why Obaseki didn’t force them to get a card to receive their COVID-19 palliative! They also mischievously ask how come if vaccines are so valuable, politicians who are notorious for stealing things intended for the general public, didn’t steal them? How come they didn’t vaccinate themselves and their families first?
The governor’s “executive proclamation” apart from being unconstitutional is based upon a totally false premise. The state’s COVID-19 Incident Manager, Dr Andrew Obi, claimed vaccination gives “full protection” against the virus. This is an outright lie, even the manufacturers of the vaccines never made such claims, they said it was between 80 per cent and 89 per cent effective. Recent data revealed that efficacy is actually between 40 per cent and 70 per cent. Every scientist knows that if a “vaccine” is not 100 per cent effective then it isn’t a vaccine it’s an experiment! This is why worldwide so many vaccinated people are still dying from COVID-19. It’s unconscionable to force Edo citizens to now require a card as permission to go about their normal lives! It’s a reprehensible form of undemocratic coercion.
As if Edo people are uniformed, no attempt has been made to address the issues which make them afraid of being vaccinated. More deaths have been associated with the vaccine than any other vaccine in history, yet the government chooses to ignore reports of vaccine-related side-effects and deaths. Obaseki makes no attempt to convince anybody of anything, but chooses instead to instill fear and use force. He has turned a blind eye to the blood clots, neurological damage, severe illness and heart inflammation plaguing some vaccinated persons.
His order makes no attempt to distinguish between those who should expect side effects and those who normally would not experience any. This gives rise to the question of whether the Edo State government is prepared to compensate the families of those who suffer or die by taking the vaccine because they were coerced by him.
The side effects of vaccination are well known. A popular BBC presenter Liz Shaw aged 44 died after developing severe headaches as a result of receiving COVID-19 vaccine. The coroner confirmed that her death was due to blood clots and a brain haemorrhage in reaction to the vaccine. In Sweden, 190 fully vaccinated formerly healthy individuals died within 30 days of being vaccinated. Studies show that 80 per cent of the women who received the Moderna Vaccine (mRNA) lost their pregnancy on the 1st trimester, and vaccinated people can no longer donate blood, or breast feed babies because they have been genetically altered. In the beginning, the COVID-19 vaccines were hailed as a “miracle of science” that would “put an end” to the pandemic. This has been proven untrue as the so-called “vaccines” have proved dangerous to the cardiovascular system. In just three months Moderna received over 300,000 adverse events reports. The Medicines and Health care Regulatory Agency admits that there are problems with the vaccine but said “the benefits continue to outweigh the risks for most people”. In simple terms the minority who die or suffer terrible side effects from the vaccine are not important!
Governor Obaseki’s instruction on the use of COVID-19 vaccination cards as a “public pass” is of course a breach of fundamental human rights as contained in the Constitution and has rightly been challenged in court. With elections on the horizon, it is clear the constitutional requirement to vote is a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) not COVID-19 vaccination certificate!
All over Europe and American there are protests against the vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine is rapidly failing and most hospitalisations and deaths are occurring amongst the “fully vaccinated”. The mRNA vaccine is not safe. An article in the New England Medical Journal revealed that 12 per cent of pregnant women who were vaccinated experienced spontaneous abortion. The article concluded that pregnant women should not be vaccinated. The vaccines are dangerous to those with pre-existing conditions, yet no attempt is made to identify such people and prevent them from being injected with the chemical.
Edo citizens have been conditioned to fear the disease and be vaccinated without question. Even though it’s generally agreed that vaccinated people are “less likely” to die, it’s also true that the human body loses all the effectiveness of the vaccine after just six months! Many areas in the world suffer far more from COVID-19 than Edo State, yet no country is disrespecting people’s rights by enforcing vaccination upon the unwilling. The Edo State government must respect people’s God given human rights and their man-made constitutional rights. Governor Obaseki habitually shows little respect for constitutional governance. His decree is an ill-considered show of power, a threat to civil liberties, and the beginning of civilian dictatorship.
