Omorogie Ogbeide-Ihama, lawmaker who represented Oredo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has appealed to would-be-delegates in the February 22, 2024 primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), not to sell their votes.
Ogbeide-Ihama made the appeal at Uromi and Auchi, Edo, while addressing leaders and members of the party during a tour of Edo Central and Edo North senatorial districts.
He urged them to support him to pick the ticket of the party for the September 21 governorship election in the state.
He said: “Don’t sell your votes, shun money bags who want to buy your conscience. We must reflect on the hardship and pains of the last seven years as party member and vote Ogbeide-Ihama as PDP candidate.
“I am appealing and offering myself to you because I know where we are coming and I want to be a governor that works for the people.”
