Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Edo State arrested 414 suspects allegedly involved in drug trafficking in 2023.
The Sector Commander of the NDLEA, Mr Buba Wakawa, who disclosed this to journalists Thursday, said, “Out of the 414 arrested suspects 312 were male while 102 were female.”
Wakawa identified the dearth of operational vehicles and funds for transportation as most challenging to the agency in the fight against drug traffickers in the state.
