Edo N-power beneficiary trains 42 students

A beneficiary of the Federal Government’s N-power scheme in Edo State, Mrs. Fausat  Haruna, has organised a four-week training programme for 42 junior secondary students in the state.

The students, drawn from Imaguero, Emotan, Idia, Oredo, Oba Ewuare Junior Secondary Schools, were trained  on basic fashion designing as well as bag and shoe making.

The state’s focal person for National Social Investments Programme, Ms. Abieyuwa Aladeshelu, commended Fausat for  contributing to the empowerment of the girl-child through skills acquisition.

Fausat commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the initiative which, she said, gave her the  opportunity to contribute her quota to the development of the society.
