Frank Okiye has emerged Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Okiye was elected Monday Monday night after 19 of the 24 lawmakers demanded the inauguration of the House.
Okiye, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is on his second tenure at the state assembly.
