Ebonyi PDP senatorial primaries yet to start

Primaries for the senatorial tickets of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to start in Ebonyi state.

This is due to late release of materials.

Daily Trust gathered that materials for the exercise were allegedly released at Osborn Hotel, own by the state governor, Engr. David Umahi.

But two aspirants, Hon. Ama-Nnachi and Hon. Dennis Ekumanakuma  were cleared to feature for Ebonyi south, while at centre are Sen. Obinna Ogba and Sen. Igwe Nweagu.

In the North senatorial zone, Sen. Sam Egwu, will be return unopposed.

But there are still controversy trailing the position of Dr. Onuoha Nnachi in the race.

Daily Trust gathered that the party has refuted claim over Dr. Onuoha’s to feature in the race.
