Ebonyi Islamic school’s alumni donate relief items to Borno flood victims

The alumni of the School of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Afikpo, Ebonyi State, have donated relief items to the victims of the recent floods in Borno State.

Led by their National Ameer, Engr. Ibrahim Tayyib, the Old Students Association of the School of Arabic and Islamic Studies (OSSAISA) donated cash, food items, and other essential supplies to displaced residents in the Galtimari Bakin Koji community of Borno State.

Speaking on behalf of the ameer, Mal. Ibrahim Buba Muhammad expressed the group’s heartfelt sympathy for the victims.

He noted that such disasters are tests from Allah and urged the affected individuals to remain steadfast in faith.

Mallam Ibrahim Babagana, the Imam of one of the mosques in the Galtimari Bakin Koji community, expressed gratitude to OSSAISA on behalf of the beneficiaries.

He commended the association for exemplifying the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) through their act of brotherhood and timely assistance.

The floods in Borno State, particularly in Maiduguri, wreaked havoc, submerging homes, business places and infrastructure.
