Ebonyi: INEC fixes card reader in one hour

The officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ebonyi state on Saturday fixed a failed card reader in Ndukwegu Amagu polling unit in Abakiliki local government area of the state in just an hour.

The polling unit serve Hon. Sylvester Ogbaga representing Abakaliki-Izzi federal constituency and Sen. Ngiji Ngele who represented Ebonyi North.

Daily Trust gathered that the faulty card reader was observed as election kicked off but was repaired within one hour.

The election, according to our reporter who had visited some polling units in Abakiliki and Ikwo local government areas of the state, has continued and going on peacefully.
