Four police commissioners are expected to provide security in Ebonyi state for Saturday’s polls.
The four commissioners have arrived the state including the AIG in charge of zone C, Musa Kimo.
Three out of the commissioners posted will take charge of the three senatorial zones of the state while Ene Okoh will head the command headquarters, Abakiliki.
The Deputy lnspector of Police, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Anthony Ogbizi disclosed this at the police officers’ mess, Abakaliki where he intimated stakeholders of the state ahead of Saturday’s polls
However, CP Ene Oko who came from Cross river state was swapped with Awosola Awotinde who has spent about one month in Ebonyi state police command.
CP Alex Opara will be in charge of Ebonyi North while Mukadas goes for Central and Josephine Nna for in Ebonyi South.
The trio will provide security in their respective zones and report accordingly to the centre command which is head by CP Okoh.
DIG, Force Headquarters, Abuja,. Ogbizi who observed the lapses security which occured in the last presidential and national assembly election, assured voters in the state of their safety.
