Ebi vows not to concede another penalty

The 31 year old, Atasehir Belediyesi of Turkey player in a telephone chat with Daily Trust from her Namibia base yesterday added that she’s feeling very confident ahead of the tie “My brother, I won’t give away another penalty and everybody in the camp is fine and confident” the former Bayelsa Queens star said.
Ebi found herself the guilty party in the opening game on Saturday when she fouled Ivorian striker Rebecca Elloh for a penalty, which teammate Fatou Coulibaly Tiegnou sent Falcons keeper Precious the wrong way for the equaliser after Esther Sunday had finished off a good build up play by Ngozi Okobi for Nigeria’s first goal.
Nigeria who top Group A on three points take on Zambia at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek by 5pm for their second game before rounding up the preliminary stage with a clash with host Namibia on Friday.
