The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, has asked God Almighty and his ancestors to heal Nigeria as Christians celebrate Easter.
The monarch’s prayer was contained in a message of felicitation signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, and made available to journalists in Benin.
Oba of Benin admonished Christians to be Christ-like, pray to God for forgiveness and ask Him to heal Nigeria.

He added that Christians should emulate the virtues of Christ in their daily living.
Oba Ewuare II urged Christians to draw strength from the message of hope offered by the sacrifice of Jesus and promote virtues of love and cohesion irrespective of their challenges.
