The Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Plateau State Command said it has deployed about 2,000 officers across the 17 local government areas of the state to ensure a hitch-free Easter celebration.
Speaking yesterday in Jos, the state Commandant, Olasupo Solomon, said he is confident that with the number of officers deployed, the state will be safe during the celebration.
Solomon urged all Plateau residents to go about their lawful businesses assuring that his men are ready to deal with perpetuators of heinous crimes.
