The ability of the Super Eagles to fly high against their opponents in South Africa will be put to test once again today, when they face the North Koreans in their final friendly match.
The last two friendly matches played by the Eagles against Saudi Arabia and Columbia under the tutelage of the Swede football tactician, Lars Lagerback ended in draws.
While there was nothing to write home about in the match against the men from Saudi Arabia, there was a little bit difference in the encounter between the Eagles and Columbia, which ended 1-1.
In the last match, some players like Lukmon Haruna, Dele Adeleye, Rabiu Afolabi, Taye Taiwo and a couple of others exhibited some traits reminiscent of the Eagles Nigerians used to know, but in terms of team chemistry, a lot still have to be done by Coach Lagerback.
According to analysts, the defence paraded by Lagerback against Columbia looked more solid than the one paraded against Saudi Arabia, while they lauded Lukmon Haruna for doing a great job in the midfield.
