Saudi authorities demand that henceforth, all Nigerian pilgrims must use e-passport as a pre-condition to perform the pilgrimage in the holy land. Kofar-Mata said in Kano yesterday that the decision by the council’s key officials to volunteer was because most intending pilgrims from the rural areas will find it difficult to get people who would stand as their guarantors while processing the e-passport.
