DSS DG, first-class kings attend coronation of Emir of Bichi

Dignitaries and well wishers are currently at the Bichi township stadium for the coronation of the emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero.

Among the dignitaries already present are the Director General Department of state Security, (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi, Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III and the Shehu of Borno.

Others are the Emirs of Zazzau, Amb Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, that of Daura Umar Farouk Umar, Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Emir of Lafiya, and Deputy governor of Zamfara, among others.

There has been tight security right from the entrance of the town with various security agents trying to ensure law and order.

Also in attendance are the Emirs of Rano, Karaye and Gaya from Kano state.
