The Department of State Service (DSS) has arrested six persons, including a nursing mother, who specialised in kidnapping toddlers in Ondo State.
The suspects were paraded at the DSS office in Akure, the state capital, yesterday.
The Director of DSS in the state, Mr Jonathan Kure, said the syndicate had been terrorising the state by kidnapping toddlers between the ages of two and four years.

He said the suspects were tracked down following an intelligent report on their nefarious activities.
He added that the operation was carried out in synergy with the personnel of the Nigerian Army.
According to him, the nursing mother, who is a wife to one of the gang members, helped in keeping weapons.
Kure said the suspects would be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation.
“What is even more touching is that one of their members is a nursing mother and wife to one of the kidnappers. She also plays a dual role of being the armoury of the group,” he said.
He said the items recovered from the suspects include laptops, cash and locally-made guns.
The state’s Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, assured residents of adequate security of their lives and property.
Aiyedatiwa urged landlords to profile their tenants properly and know the kind of work they do.
“Security is everybody’s business. If you noticed anyone that is living above his means, let security check the person out,” he said.
