Drug dealers nabbed in Benue

The police in Benue State have arrested two drug dealers on the Enugu-Otukpa road.

Spokesperson of the police in the state, SP Catherine Anene, in a statement yesterday, said: “On 09/10/2022 at about 0930hrs while policemen on stop-and-search duty on the Enugu-Otukpa road intercepted a Hilux driven by Obinna Nsofor and one other.

“On sighting the police patrol team, they took to their heels but were chased and arrested.

“A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 38 cartons of tramadol tablets.”
