Driver stabs baker to death in Lagos

Homicide detectives from the Lagos State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID), Panti Street, Yaba, are on the trail of a driver, Collins Onyeka, alias Yinka, who fled after stabbing a baker, Daniel Dennis (25), to death following a disagreement in the Ilasan area of Ajah.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on December 8, 2023, around 8am at their work place in Ajah, where the victim worked as a baker for one Peju Adeniyi, while the suspect worked as a driver of the delivery van.

Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said the scene was visited by policemen from Ilasan Division and that the corpse was evacuated and deposited at the Yaba General Hospital.
