A driver was yesterday killed in a road crash involving his truck at Oke Riya Agric Bus Stop, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Findings revealed that the accident was due to brake failure and the driver lost control of the truck and it crashed into a BRT demarcation and pedestrian bridge pillar.

The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Osanyitolu, who confirmed the incident, said, “The trapped truck driver in the cabin who lost his life in the incident has been extricated with light duty rescue equipment in the ongoing operation and duly handed over to officials from the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit (SEHMU).
