“Don’t use hate, vulgar language against other aspirants”- Bauchi APC aspirant tells supporters

An All progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Katagum constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Tijjani Mohammed Aliyu has cautioned his supporters on using hateful utterances and vulgar language against other aspirants during campaigns.

He made the call in Azare after submitting his letter of intent to contest for the elections.

He said that such speeches are capable of undermining his candidate’s integrity and that of the party.

Aliyu who is the incumbent Majority leader of the state House of Assembly said any person who used foul language against anybody or destroyed posters of political opponents is not doing so on his behalf.

” if now supporters abuses opponents what have they got to offer in the event their candidate wins the primaries during time for reconciliation,”he said.

Responding the Katagum local government area APC chairman, Aminu Umar Chinade who received the aspirants letter of intent said the party has no anointed candidate but would do justice to all the aspirants.

He said Tijjani is one out of six aspirants that have indicated their intentions to contest the forthcoming primaries.

A PDP stalwart who recently decamped to the All Progressive Congress Dr Umar black has extolled the leaderahip qualities of the majority leader saying that he has the majority in Katagum politics.
