Coalitions of civil society organisations have urged the electorate to hold their representatives at the National Assembly to account by ensuring that only those who lived up to expectations are re-elected come 2023.
The civil society groups which include FixPolitics Initiative, CISLAC, Centre LSD, Social Action, AFRICMIL, Accountability Lab, PLSI, Spaces for Change, CNC, WEWE Network Afrique, ICIR and OrderPaper Advocacy Initiative, spoke at a press conference Monday.

Executive Director, FixPolitics, Anthony Ubani, and the Executive Director, OrderPaper, Mr. Oke Epia, who spoke on behalf of the CSOs, said citizens should use the yardstick of stewardship appraisals to demand accountability from members of the 9th assembly and engage in associated conversations during campaigns for the next general elections.
