Don’t panic, Police tell Adamawa residents as shooting exercise begins

The Adamawa State Police Command has urged residents not to panic over the shooting exercise at the Counter Terrorism Unit base, near Nas Radio station in the Girei Local Government Area of the state.

The spokesperson of the police command,  SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who made the disclosure, said the exercise will last for three days.

SP Nguroje called on members of the public not to panic when they hear the gunshots. He also urged farmers around the shooting area to keep off for the period of the exercise.
