Special adviser on Media and Public affairs to Governor David Jang Mr Dan Manjang told newsmen in Jos yesterday that “we are not happy with reports that some state governors were evacuating their citizens from the state and we are appealing to those governors to stop this in the interest of peace unity and stability of the country”

Manjang said Plateau is for all Nigerians we must live together with all in peace and harmony and assured them of the government commitment to restore peace, law and order in all parts of the state and government will protect their lives and properties. he added

He said government has assisted the displaced people with food , water, blankets and medicine in all the camps, adding that government will assist in the resettlement of the displaced persons.

He debunked stories published in national daily that some hundreds of Fulani men were massacared in front of Governor Jang’s due residence, even though government will not join issues with people fabricating mischievous stories against the government but what was reported was lies because even the security operatives told the world the places where these crises affected even the chief of Army staff and the vice president went round all the affected areas and journalists from all over the world were there to see for themselves they visited the areas affected front of governor Jang’s house not included.”
